Restorative Yoga and Sound Meditation
We will bring the benefits of restorative yoga poses and sound meditation into one unified
experience in this special monthly class. Please wear your most comfortable clothes and bring
your own pillow(s) and blankets. Some yoga mats and props, such as blocks, will be available
but if you would like to use your own, please bring them.
Benefits of restorative yoga and sound meditation include:
Reduces stress, tension, and anxiety.
Balances body and nervous system energy.
Stimulates removal of toxins.
Promotes body, mind and spirit harmony.
Enhances your flexibility.
Deep relaxation.

Science has confirmed that these practices can directly affect mood, brain waves, the nervous
system and body chemistry. The vibrations of gongs, singing bowls, flutes, and percussion
instruments stimulate the body to help produce the alpha waves that are present in the brain in
deep relaxation. As you ease into each restorative yoga pose, the sounds will support you,
inviting deep connections with your breath, body, mind and spirit.

Cacao Ceremony
2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Experience the beautiful properties of cacao, the plant medicine from which chocolate is made.
Cacao is a superfood plant medicine. We will be working with a ceremonial grade cacao from
Guatemala. Do you already love chocolate? Would you like to try ethically sourced cacao
which isn’t full of sugar and caffeine? What if each time you consumed cacao, you could
connect more deeply because you attended this ceremony? The deep sense of connection would
be brought to your memory each time you had cacao. Creating sacred space, connecting via
ceremony and using ritual can add so much to your busy life. Take an afternoon off and share in
this amazing experience. We will deeply explore our hearts and souls. Cacao ceremony allows
you to connect more deeply with your inner self. It is heart opening and inspires increased focus,
clarity and creativity! It assists you in any transformation you are working on. You set your
intentions and cacao aids in your insight and awareness in achieving your goal. You will learn
about your ability to love unconditionally, about your truest, deepest self and living your
purpose. You will release negative energy and blocks as you open to more love and gratitude.
We will sit in sacred circle, and the cacao will be taken. As we consume the cacao, and connect
with the Spirit of the cacao medicine, we will open to what it has to offer us. We will create a
safe space to share, reconnecting with our deep, inner wisdom, and then after sharing, go into a
sound healing meditation. We invite you to take this journey with us. The cacao will enhance
these practices, taking you to deeper levels of consciousness and understanding. Cacao connects
us with our hearts, and elicits feelings of joy, bliss, love and transformation. It raises your
vibration! We will share how you can add cacao into your own personal spiritual practices.
Then we will reconnect in our sharing of the experience and participants will have an
opportunity to share their creative inspirations if they so choose. These ceremonies expand our
connection in community with others who attend also. Bring a yoga mat or cushion, or use one
of ours, a blanket, pillow, whatever you need to be physically comfortable, a bottle of water, a
journal if you want, and an open heart! Also, if there is something creative you want to share in
the last round, i.e. a poem, a painting or drawing, a song, etc. please bring it or feel free to create
in the moment. You may also bring a personal sacred item to be blessed on the altar and taken
home with you after the ceremony and/or an offering for the altar.

Children and Family Meditation
6:30 p.m.-7:00 p.m.
Energy Exchange: By Donation.
Join us for a special meditation with sound designed for children to meditate with their family
members. We will give a short instruction on meditation techniques. Then the actual meditation
will last 15-20 minutes. Bring your children or grandchildren. Take this time to bond and share
meditation with them. Help them learn to cope with stress in life at an early age! After
meditating, a short period of time will be allotted for any questions the children have about
meditation or the instruments. Our sounds for meditation are created with an intention of
unconditional love and gratitude. Your support is greatly appreciated.

This is a free community meditation that usually meets monthly on the 3rd
Thursday of the month at 6 p.m. at a different location with a different leader each month. This month’s meditation will
be held on Tuesday, Dec. 10 at 6 p.m. and Deb Jennings of Sounds for the Soul is the meditation leader.
Players from Sounds for the Soul provide the meditation music.

Full Moon Gong Meditation
6:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
Energy Exchange: $15 per person.
The full moon is an excellent time to release what is no longer serving you.
The gong meditation enhances the releasing process.
Members may bring a yoga mat and other items (i.e. pillow,
blanket, eye cover, bottle of water) for their comfort. Many enjoy bringing a journal to jot down
guidance and messages received during the meditation.
You will be “bathed” in sound during this session.
The gong sounds will help detoxify the body.
(Be sure to drink plenty of pure water following the session.)
The sounds of the gong will remind you of your inner ability to be in
bliss, as well as take you into a state of deep relaxation and peacefulness.
At the time of the full moon, the energy supports us in releasing anything that no longer serves us, perhaps a behavior,
a belief, thought pattern, whatever you are ready to let go of, to make room for the new that you
wish to create. At this group meditation, we will combine our intentions with the frequencies of
multiple gongs, crystal singing bowls and other instruments to bring about the healing process
within each of us. As we do this healing work on ourselves, we help to heal our world. As we
heal our world, we heal ourselves. We will work with our breath and the vibrations of
unconditional love and gratitude

Solstice Sound Bath at Sacred Health
$20/person. 7 to 8 p.m.
In collaboration with Sounds for the Soul by Deb Jennings, Sacred Health is hosting an
opportunity for meditation accompanied by the sounds of gongs, alchemy bowls, crystal and
Tibetan singing bowls, Native American flutes and percussion instruments. We invite you into
this sacred space to welcome in Winter on Winter Solstice. Solstice literally translates into ‘the
sun stands still’. This is the darkest day of the year. The sun, traditionally viewed as a masculine
energy, and the moon, traditionally viewed as feminine, change roles in the dance between our
seasons this day. Take an hour out of your day to invite the stillness that comes with this shift.
No previous meditation experience required, places for mats and chairs available for those that
prefer to remain seated. We encourage you to leave this event for those 12+ years old.

New Moon Gong Meditation

At the new moon, it is the perfect time to create what you want to manifest in your life.
We set intentions on how we want things to look in our lives. The new moon gong meditation assists us
to stay connected with our mind, body and spirit, utilizing the moon energy as a healing
experience. The sound of the gong “re-tunes” us on many levels, bringing us into harmony and
deep levels of inner peace. These sounds work on a cellular level as well as an emotional level.
